General.

  • The festival will be held from October 3rd to 5th in Warsaw, Poland.

    The exact location of the festival is Browary Warszawskie - ADN Conference Center

  • World Visualization Festival is a large event consisting of the following elements:

    - Thursday, October 3rd: Choose from 3 out of 9 proposed workshops. More details

    - Friday - Saturday, October 4th-5th: 16 different presentations divided into two stages (Art & Creativity and Technology & Business), plus 6 discussion panels. More details

  • The event is ticketed and the number of tickets is limited.

    We offer three types of tickets:

    1. Solo ticket for Thursday [workshops, networking]:

      - ticket - €160

    2. Solo ticket for two days - Friday and Saturday [presentations, discussion panels, networking]:

      - regular ticket - €430

    3. Combo ticket (with a discount) for all days [workshops, presentations, discussion panels, networking]:

      - regular ticket - €540

  • These details will be presented one month before the event. We are currently finalizing all festival details. It is too early to provide exact registration information.

  • The scale of the festival is enormous. We have workshops, presentations, and discussion panels - the three days are packed. The number of all the elements affects the complexity and difficulty of communication.   • Yes. The ticket price includes light catering - coffee, tea, drinks, snacks, and cookies. Additionally, in the Browary Warszawskie area, there are several different places where you can find your favorite tastes - these treats are available at your own expense.

  • No. Lunch is to be paid for and organized on your own.

    The Browary Warszawskie area is an ideal place for such a festival because it has several different options for eating something really great.

    You will definitely find many different possibilities here :)

  • The entire festival and all its elements will be conducted in English. There will be no translations available in other languages.

  • A unique festival is primarily about human relationships and having a good time mixed with top knowledge - that's exactly what you can expect at WVF. There will be no organized and moderated networking sessions, but there will be long 30-minute breaks between each presentation, which you can use for this purpose.

    We understand that not everyone is a fan of these activities and we do not force anyone. Everyone can spend this time as they like.

  • Yes and no :) If you want to meet new people and hand them your business card or show your portfolio, we encourage you to do so. However, if you want to "scatter" your flyers, promote yourself intrusively, and turn the festival into an advertising pillar, we do not tolerate that.

  • At the moment, we do not plan such an option. Our main goal is to create a stationary festival where the entire industry can exchange experiences, ideas, and jointly set the future in person. If we sell all the tickets, which we wish for you and ourselves, then we will consider additional solutions.

  • Yes. Browary Warszawskie and ADN Conference Center are modern spaces that meet all usability standards and are prepared to accommodate physically disabled persons.

  • You are at a festival and you should have a good time!

    In this regard, there is full freedom - of course with the general principles of culture in mind ;)

    We try to respond promptly, but please give us at least 24 hours to reply. We are working intensively to finalize everything perfectly and make it amazing.

Tickets.

  • We do not offer discount codes or student discounts. Groups of more than 10 people can receive a 10% discount. To arrange this discount, please contact us via email at hi@worldvizfest.com.

    We will handle all the formalities and payment via email.

    The group discount does not apply to early-bird tickets.

  • Yes. An invoice is automatically issued after purchasing a ticket and should be sent to your email.

    If, for some reason, you do not receive the invoice within 24 hours of purchasing the ticket, please contact us via email at hi@worldvizfest.com. In your message, please provide the following information:

    - Date of purchase

    - Order number

    - Number of tickets purchased

    - Invoice details [company name, company address, VAT ID/EU VAT number].

  • Yes.

  • We offer three types of tickets:

    • Ticket for Thursday [October 3rd] - workshops

    • Ticket for Friday and Saturday [October 4th-5th] - presentations and discussion panels

    • Ticket for Thursday + Friday and Saturday [October 3rd-5th] - workshops + presentations and discussion panels.

  • There are no physical tickets for the festival. If you purchased a ticket and made the payment, you will receive a transaction confirmation with all purchase details via email. The registration method will be provided in a dedicated email two weeks before the festival.

  • Yes, we ask you to :) The badge helps present who you are, and other festival participants will quickly see that you are attending the same event.

    Additionally, it will help us with guest verification and maintaining order at the festival.

  • Unfortunately, no. We have a strict no-refund policy, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. See details in "Can I transfer my ticket to another person."

  • If you are unable to attend the World Visualization Festival 2024, you can always sell or transfer your ticket to someone else. This operation is handled on your own.

    IMPORTANT! - Remember to inform us about this and provide us with the new participant's updated details. Please send us a message with the details to - hi@worldvizfest.com. In your message, please provide:

    • Order number

    • Old participant details [name, surname, email]

    • New participant details to whom the ticket was transferred [name, surname, email].

    IMPORTANT! - Without this data update in our system, the new person will not pass the registration and will not enter the festival. Please remember to inform us and complete the above formalities.

  • Yes. We know that sometimes convincing your boss, HR department, or manager requires the right approach and valuable arguments :) We have thought about this and prepared a ready-made letter that you can present to decision-makers in your company - link>> We hope this material will be helpful and we will see you at WVF!

Transportation. Travel.

  • We are working on it.

  • We understand that Warsaw might be unfamiliar to you, so we will prepare some basic information on how to get to the festival. More info soon.

  • No. Each participant is responsible for their own travel arrangements.

Presentations. Workshops.

  • Yes, the workshops have a limited number of spots. Currently, we are collecting registrations and assessing overall interest. We will provide a detailed breakdown at the beginning of September.

  • For the workshops, you will be able to choose up to three workshops, and you will have access only to those. Registration for the workshops will take place about a month before the event. For presentations and discussion panels, you have complete freedom of choice.

  • Yes and no :) You can take souvenir photos or videos - we encourage you to share them on social media with our hashtag #WORLVIZFEST. However, recording entire presentations is not allowed. Some of the presented materials are protected by NDAs, and some are prepared exclusively for WVF attendees, and we want it to stay that way.

    Please respect our and the speakers' guidelines.

  • All sessions will be conducted live. Nothing will be played from recordings.

  • We invite you to follow WVF social media - https://www.instagram.com/worldvizfest/. Appropriate surveys will be conducted there.

  • Of course - we strive to listen to the audience's voice, and every suggestion is very valuable to us. The festival aims to represent the voice of the industry, and we are open to any idea.

  • Of course, this is possible, but it must align with the theme of the festival and be valuable to our audience. Please contact us via email at partner@worldvizfest.com to discuss the initial details and outline a potential action plan.

    IMPORTANT! Due to logistics and the organization of the entire festival, the number of spaces for exhibitors is limited. We encourage quick decisions as spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Inquiries and ideas are accepted no later than September 1st.

  • Yes, you can receive a digital certificate that you can print yourself.

    To order this document, please send an email after the festival to [email address].

    In your email, please provide:

    • The order number from your ticket purchase

    • The name of the person the certificate should be issued to (first name, last name).

    We will send the certificate within 15 days after receiving the request.
